Pthd 9.0.2 mac

I imagine this has been covered, but the search engine yields NO results when I enter "9.0.2" Anyway, I've downloaded the updater a couple of times, and each time, when I attempt to run it, it flat out fails the install, within a couple of seconds. Some cryptic message about contacting the manufacturer or something like that, and I'm toast. Is this installer (9.0.2 update for MAC) just broken, or am I missing something? Do I even want to mess with this update?....

9.0.1 failed for me when using the updater. I had to (safe) uninstall and reinstall using the full installer. 9.0.2 has no full installer and I have no need to bother with it as 9.0.1 is working perfectly on 3 systems for me.

Thanks, that sounds like exactly the right answer. Hard to know what to think when installers fail commonly, or wipe out plugin installs AND the associated data (structure bug from 9.0 installer). Anyway, thanks for bringing some clarity to the subject....

er wrong - 9.02 does have a full installer - see my post re PT 9 install today
