Media Composer/A.V. OMF

Here's a problem that is becoming the bane of my existence.

1. Digitize audio (i.e. Sound FX) in audiovision 4.1.v9 Mac OS 8.5.1.

2. Export (OMFI Composition & Frame Acurate Mediafiles to a mediacomposer 6.5.3v.6

3. Picture Dept. uses those Sound FX in a sequence and export it all back to the Audiovision.

4. The media which was originally digitized in the Audiovision does not come back. The edit information is there on the timeline, but "Exception: Insufficient Media in MediaFile" window comes up. I can find "media" in the mediafiles folder, but it will not play or relink.

5. I was told that 4.1v9 would fix this problem, but it's the same as it ever was. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated as I often send sound files to the picture editors that will eventually make their way back to me.
