Default Slowing down click

when I'm in manual mode on the transport how do I make it do less clicks

less clicks as in quarter instead of eighth? or actually slowing the tempo down to a slower bpm?

I assume you're using the click plugin there are presets that name different patterns. Rhythm watch quarter note is one of them. I think all the cowbell presets are quarter too.

That plug will follow whatever tempo you've named.

You can also change the resolution by opening the initial Meter setting for the session and setting the "Click" parameter to the desired setting. (Chapter 23; Reference Guide)

You can also change the resolution by double clicking the song start marker for the session and setting the "Resolution" parameter to the desired setting. (Chapter 14; Reference Guide)

Yeah they're all correct.

BTW Do any of you guys know an alternative click plugin? Like, a free plugin with different sounds?

Free? Nope. But the TL Metro plug-in that comes in the TL Utilities bundle is the one I prefer.

$145 for that stupid bundle? Talk about overcharging... They can keep their stupid utility plugins and shove them.

I would check ebay. I don't know where you found that price, but TL Metro on ebay is $19.99 here
