VISTA IS NOT(to my knowledge) A STABLE OS FOR AUDIO PRODUCTION YET... IF YOU WANT TO SHOUT DO IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.... OR DO YOUR RESEARCH.......................

Good god man......why would you want to be a beta tester for PT on Vista. I think it`s going to be a Gong Show for a while until parties get their collective crap together. I dont think that it would be much of an upgrade considering you`d probably have to disable most of the new OS`s features to get maximum performance from your DAW. I`m certainly in no hurry to move from XP. Personally if I was looking to switch OS`s, I`d rather go to OSX instead.

JMO............

Some people (like myself) use PT merely for a hobby, and will move or upgrade rather quickly to Vista. In that case a driver (even without guarantee of glitch-free recording) or even a beta-driver, would be more than welcome. IMO.
After all, when upgrading to 7.3 we contribute to the development of it.

relaxed... but doesn't anyone get sick of the demand for a stable recording platform on an unproven os??? Does constructive critisism count for nothing these days? or cheap sarcasm?

I dunno. You still seem a bit stressed out over a simple question.

To me, your reply came off like the guy had threatened to kick your dog.
It was his first post. He might not have known that caps are considered shouting in forums.
And it certainly wasn't an outlandish question for a new user with the Vista marketing blitz in full motion.

You didn't have to attack the guy.
