Default Has anyone heard the NEW Sony Oxford Plug-In?

I just read about it in audiomedia magazine. It's some sort of EQ that is based on the Sony Oxford. It was being shown at a recent trade show.

Anyone heard it yet?

I sat down with the designers for 20 mins on the Sony stand at the Amsterdam AES. They didnt have a version to try ready...

They told me:

No demos ever, try to buy
3/4 eq's per mix chip
A compressor was to follow!
The basic plug in had an optional extra charge George Massenburg version available.

It is 3 months late at present.

The plugin seems to be the same code as the eq on the oxford. I can't speek for the plugin but the oxford eq was good but not overwhelming. But definitely a great sounding eq without any digital harshness but lacking that something special to put over the top. The GML eq however was truly great. I can only assume the plugin would be just as good. The GML compressor is what knocked me out though. I can only hope this becomes available soon.

I also asked them if there will be a demo version and they said no.
Well, with no demo I don't see a chance of buying it.....
I think they should reconsider their decision. I want to judge the quality of a plug-in in my own studio environment only. I've wasted to much money already on plugins that turned out to be useless.
