Metacorder might be a fantastic solution for you, I think. THe site has a real clear description of functionality. Check it out. My day (actually night) job is xferring audio for dailies at a post house here in LA, and we've had many projects come in using this app. I must say its impressive. the ease of adding metadata alone is great.

the price is well worth it, IMO
