Default Dell 8400 Memor Errors in PTLE 6.new

I run a new dell 8400 setup, P4 HT 3.0 GHz, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 40GB SATA HD. I have the MBox and i keep getting that 70xx error about having to increase the memory hardware buffer and i do and it keeps coming up with that error. Sometimes it even stops playback. I did the interloc thing and i updated all my drivers and i can't seem to get around it. I run SP2 XP Home, it came preinstalled. Any ideas?
