Cables for omni. which one to buy

Can you purchase db25 breakout cables that have the xlr/1/4 inch jack combination female connector for inputs into omni??? or is there a patch bay that will turn around a normal db25 breakout either xlr or 1/4 inch jack balanced to the combination 1/4 xlr connector in a patchbay???

Also what is a good spdif cable to buy... I have been having noise issues with eleven rack someone suggested 75ohm cable.

What are your thoughts...

Re DB25 cables, I have never seen one with a mix of XLR and quarter inch, but many companies will build one as a special order(Whirlwind, C.B.I. and Rapco will anyway). That would likely not be cheap, so I would buy whichever(XLR or TRS), and then switch out half the connectors(every studio owner should have basic soldering skills anyway). Or buy the XLR version, and add adapters to convert as needed(adapters are around $14 a piece).

Re SPDIF cables, I would think any cable that is specified as digital SHOULD work(lots of folks just grab anything with RCA plugs and use it).
