Been getting this error for some time now. I don't know what it is. When i get it i get like 50 little windows telling me the same thing: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Runtime Error!. C:\program files.....Pro Tools.exe

My only option is to quit pro tools.
This happens mostly quite random when i hit play.

I could not find any windows installer for updating the plug-ins. only a mac installer?

If you tell us which plugins, specifically, it would be much easier to point you in the right direction.

It would be helpful to have a list of every plugin that is installed including exact version numbers, yes. That will make it easy for us to tell you which ones are out of date, which ones can cause problems, and where you can get the updates.

Unsupported plugins caused this problem.
Try and uninstall recently installed third party plugins. If the problem persists, that is because Pro Tools retains many of uninstalled plugins in its plugins folder and in this case, you will have to perform a manual removal of those applications. Follow the steps below:

1 - Go to your system folder, locate a folder called "common files".
2 - Find "Digidesign and locate DAE folder.
3 - Then locate plugins and open it to search for recently installed plugins.

I recommend you remove those ones that were not bundled with Pro Tools. If you installed them at a later date than when you installed Pro Tools, then try and search by "dates created". Select each plugin and you will see the information below the windows explorer. Let me know if you have any other issues. I have tried this and it worked.

I found that re-installing the iLok drivers fixed this problem for me.
