I'm back - question about iMac and getting up and running again

Hi -

I tried to get PTLE8 running on a windows machine and found out that because of the motherboard, chipset, and various other things it just wasn't going to happen...so....I just finally ordered a iMac that I'm pretty confident will work well based on all the compatibility charts and stuff.

My question is - I bought an mbox mini and installed everything on the windows machine and also used that little USB thing that is needed for like Eleven and such - when I get the new computer - do I just have to basically do everything over on the iMac or are things going to be somehow tied to the Windows machine?

Thanks - you guys, along with Digi Support totally helped me out with the whole Windows fiasco, and I appreciated that.

Anything that is authorized on the iLok key will work on the Mac without having to do anything. If there is any software that was authorized using serial #'s then you will have to re-authorize them once you install them on the Mac. You will have to do a fresh install of Pro Tools and every plugin.
