Mastering plugin for Mac OS Tiger 10.4 / PT 7?

So I still have a bit old setup as said in title and I need mastering software, any recommendations for such setup? Does Avid has some reasonable mastering software for PT 7 for sale anymore or will I just need upgrade my system before even thinking about getting mastering plugins?

at least waves have been reported to crash with PT and also my local dealer hasnt give thumbs up for it with mac/PT..

What do you want to achieve?
What do you want to achieve that you cant do with the EQ and dynamics tools you already have?
Volume?
Extra punch and fidelity?
You can do that with what you have.
Just put them on the master fader and tweak them 'till your happy with the sound.

Mastering is really about ears, not gear. And experience.
The mastering engineers job in the old days was to see to it that the master tape was transferred to the vinyl press with the best quality possible. Not to polish a mediocre mix.

And I don't know where you heard that Waves would crash PT as it's probably the least likely to cause any problems, assuming you're using the version that's compatible with your system.

If you're staying on that system, you will have a harder time finding compatible software. You might look into trying to find Ozone 3 or 4, rather than v.5, for example.

Sometimes you can find older versions of software on Ebay or on clearance from some dealers.
