Lets hope this is a free update with a rework of the MIDI capabilities in PT. I'm hoping for MIDI loop recording with overdub to be added, as well as a more friendly editing interface for MIDI overall. The ability to convert MIDI sections into block regions that could be moved around would be nice as well.

Like any major number that PT releases (i.e. 5.0, 6.0...) I am guessing this will be a paid update, for the usual price.

There are also rumors around that 7 will give LE users a link to HD in some way a "TDMLE".
The ability to use TDM features from LE hardware. Maybe Pro Tools will now just be called "Pro Tools HD" with no distinction between hardware, just the ability for more processing. You know that competing with Apple / Logic thing.
