Setup RME ADI-2 Pro FS for use in Pro Tools 12?

I have a RME ADI-2 Pro FS and need some advice setting up PT 12.

I've installed the latest RME drivers (MADIFace) for Win64, updated the ADI-2 firmware with no issues.

With the RME drivers installed, what Win64 audio settings are critical for the PT12 operation? Even playing back iTunes through ADI-2? However, I am playing back iTunes via ADI-2 using the 'Straight-Though' mode without issue AS long as the USB cable is not plugged in! Are the analog I/O of the ADI-2 cable of playing back iTunes?

In PT12, with the ADI-2 in USB mode, I do see (2) ADI inputs and (2) ADI outputs in PT's I/O setup. Wouldn't the ADI digital I/O be usable in PT?

Even with ADI's analog I/O setup I can not pass any signals! The PT mixer accepts the ADI I/O, but no signal evidence at all!

I'm somewhat new to PT and real new to RME ADI-2 Pro so ... I need to read more, etc. but I'm going in circl;es.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm not really familiar with the RME interfaces, but do you have it set up as follows?

Start the ASIO software and select ASIO MADIface USB as the audio I/O device or the audio
driver.
The sample rate is set by the ASIO application. The buffer size (latency) is set in the RME Settings dialog.

The number of available channels depends on the current Class Compliant mode: 2 channels
I/O when set to Stereo, 6 in / 8 out when set to Multi-channel. See chapter 14.1.3. Note: changing the CC-Mode requires to temporarily disconnect the ADI-2 Pro from the computer.
The ASIO 2.2 driver supports sample rates up to 768 kHz in PCM format. DSD record/playback
is supported as DoP within ASIO as well as via ASIO native. ASIO Direct Monitoring (ADM) is
not supported.

The ASIO software in this case would be Pro Tools.

Since its Windows, to rule out a hardware conflict, make sure Windows(Sound Properties) is NOT using the RME as the "Default Playback Device".
