Default 3 video monitors

Is there a way to have 3 video monitors going at once. One for edit, one for mix, and one for digibase browsers ?

Cheers

Search this forum... there have been a lot of posts on this topic. BTW two video cards aren't officially supported by Digi.

Regards,

If third monitor speed is of small importance I've been using a Triton See2 extreme USB video for a third. It's been usable since Mac Version 3.

The 27: has DV + HDMI with picture-in-picture for DVD/BR checking or final viewing.

I always use three monitors for PT. The only time that have I ever encountered any troubles is when you have a video preview track (if you're viewing the video within PT, and not on an external monitor) split over two monitors. Of course that is just common sense *not* to do that, though.

I might also add, that having done this a TON, you get the best results with two of the exact same card... Also the older AGP machines HATE this and will crash everytime... PCIe seems fine...

Thanks. I guess I just need another video card. And two cards the same is best. Cheers

Maybe take a look at Matrox TripleHead2Go.

I am considering this setup on a MacPro: one output for Edit Window, one for Mix Window, and one going to a HDMI splitter for Control Room and Studio TV for ADR.
HTH.
