error messages
I recently purchased Digi 001 and am liking it a lot. I worry some because everyone here has PIII and I'm running a measly P II @ 350mhz. My problem is that I occasionaly get error messages and have also frozen several times. Its caused me to lose some sleep, but I know my salesman who will let me return it if necessary. I think there may be a conflict with video drivers because some messages have indicated so. The thing that really has me worred are the fatal error messages. I already own a 1680 and 880, but love 001s editing capabilities.
I have also called tech support and gone around and around on this and they think it may be a video issue. I have sucessfully recorded a 12 track tune and can play the demo tunes. Any thoughts????? |

Re: error messages
Can you post the text of the error messages you receive?

Re: error messages
Fear not,
i am running a PII 333, on a 66 mhz FSB. At least you are running a 100mhz bus. i would try to work out the problems. i have had a few minor lock ups (mostly from my own ignorant mistakes in my attempts at optimization, not necissarily digi's fault), but mine runs stable with the 18 track song i recently finished. My main tip would be to save often, even if you have a high end computer, a simple power failure can set you back an easy 5 hours, with a massive frustration headache. if you need some optimization tips, i would love to help out. My main problem has been slow screen redraw, but that is a small price to pay for continuous playback without skipping (unlike other hard disk recording software allows with greater then like 10 tracks).
