Probably, hopefully not. Aggregate IO can be a bit finicky as it's having to, in software, sync up all streams from the devices that are aggregated which can lead to problems if proper sync isn't achieved.

Did you uninstall PT first? I would try that next.

Did you try it with the Focusrite selected as the interface, instead of Aggregate?

Hi,
go to Playback Engine>Host engine>uncheck minimize additional latency and if needed uncheck ignore errors. That should help. If not you should check the Audio-Midi-Setup if the Sample rates of your session and the output are the same.
