MP3 BTD causes iMac/PT 9.0.2 Audio Clock problems
Hi All.
I haven't tested this on my Win 7 machine, but on my 27" iMac, using the onboard audio outputs and bouncing a fraction of a song as an mp3 almost always give the the popup window saying... "Problem detected with audio clock. Check that your clock source and sample rate are correct." It happens so far every time I have attempted to bounce an mp3 from PT... at least since I have noticed it and watched out for it. System specific? Or perhaps just in my system. Anyway, yes, workarounds galore - I just thought I'd post it in the event it is a bug maybe someone from Digi / Avid will pick up on it if they have not already. Thanks. iMac 27" i3 (2 x 3.2GHz), 4GB Ram 10.6.7, PT 9.0.2, onboard audio

Re: MP3 BTD causes iMac/PT 9.0.2 Audio Clock problems
Yep. Me, too.
MBP OSX 10.6.6 2.16 Intel Core 2 Duo 3GB ram PT 9.0.2 Every time I bounce a 16/44.1 mp3, it will successfully bounce, but then I can't play the session back. I have to restart Pro Tools to get it to work. But I never had to do that before in 7.4! |

Still happening in 9.0.3
And it is happening with "Export Playlists as Files" as well when choosing MP3.

Re: MP3 BTD causes iMac/PT 9.0.2 Audio Clock problems
I am having this same issue in Pro Tools 10. The bounce to MP3 works fine, it converts and encodes correctly, and the file works... but as soon as it goes back into the session after the bounce, it says:
"Problem detected with audio clock. Check that your clock source and sample rate are correct." Looks like a bug. I have to close Pro Tools and re-open the program for it to work again. I have an M-Audio ProFire Lightbridge interface and Mac OS X 10.6.8. Hopefully will see a fix in the next update! |
