Motu also threw us a fork ball by releasing DP7 instead of fixing DP6. Seems like everybody is trying to satisfy the 'need??' for a great software guitar amp.

Thanks, but I have to give credit to my friend, S#!tty Bedford, for the name. Dr. Rubcrumpus is a character from a play he wrote and produced. The play, Bafoonicus Spectaculous, was performed at The Center for Puppetry Arts here in Atlanta, and received the most complaints they had ever gotten. S#!tty was pleased.

It's just desserts since their marketing guys try to apologize for long-standing complaints (e.g. the lack of ADC) by claiming "the company needs to focus its resources on other priorities."

No one has EVER demanded a digi-branded hardware amp simulator in the dozen years I've been a member here. What, exactly, is Avid's priority?
