I keep turning "timeline insertion follows playback" on and off by accident during recording. Does anyone know if the is a key command for this that I am catching?

And here I thought I was the only one! I believe (not in front of my system right now) that it is the "N" key. Very easy to catch a corner of it when hitting the spacebar.

Do a search, and you'll find that a lot of people have had this problem. So many that I'm wondering if Digi should just get rid of this function. Does anyone actually use this "feature" on purpose? Also, the "n" seems to only turn it on, but to turn it off you have to open the preferences panel, and find the right page , then uncheck the box, then close the prefs. Digi, can you please help us on this one?

C Tone,
I use it all the time in Post. I would definitely miss it. Once you know how to turn it on/off, then you can use it when needed.

............it took me a few months to figure out why this was happening, thought it was a bug!

Great feature, esp for overdubs and quick punches just needs to be moved to another key!

Maybe get in the habit of hitting the spacebar towards one side to avoid hitting the N by accident.
