Default Male to female vocal effect?

Does anyone know how to create a convincing male to female vocal effect? I have autotune but changing the pitch alone doesnt exactly sound like a female like some I've heard on youtube. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

i've done it with ircam transformer,

An ordinary bench vice does a good job...

Melodyne! With the formant-tool I've done some impressive male to female transitions and vice versa.

+1 for Melodyne, or +1 for getting a female singer
