Default Recording w/ 001 using Core Audio Driver 1.1

Does anyone know of any apps (freeware or shareware preferred) that allow 2-track recording to disc in OS X using the 001's inputs when not using ProTools?

In OS 9, I used Coaster with great success. But my new Quicksilver G4 does not have an audio input, so the 001 (w/new Core Audio driver) is the only way to get sound in...

Maybe the first question should be: Does the Core Audio driver allow "audio in", or is it just "audio out" so far?

In Audio MIDI Setup, all of the input options are greyed out... Thoughts??

Or, go over to osxaudio.com. There's a ton of **** there, you're bound to find something.

Thanks, Morningstar. That site is a great resource. I downloaded about 1/2 a dozen of the audio recording programs between OSXAudio.com and versiontracker.com, and the one the seems to work w/ the 001 (recording audio in) is Spark ME. It is a free download from TCElectronics' website.

It works well if you don't need all of ProTools' functionality, but want to capture & edit audio via the 001 quickly.
