Default Numeric Keypad

I'm just getting started with PT LE 002R for Windows.

Can't seem to make the Numeric Keypad initiate Play/RWD/Pause/Rec ????
I'm useing a hard wired keyboard.

I can mark Memory locations w/ ENTER button, but viewing Memory Locations Ctrl+ 5 doesn't work either. I can't seem to find a good way to pause and resume playback from desired position without the numeric keypad.

Q: Does the Numeric Keypad" only function with TDM systems???
My "F" Keys all seem to work, but nothing in the Numeric Keypad works.

Thanks,

Russ

russrags ,

Make sure you select "Transport" mode in preferences, not "Classic"

happy tooling,

Thanks Lemix,

I've got "Transport" checked, but the Numeric Keypad still doesn't work !@#$%^&
This is a new Logitech keyboard. Is it confirmed then that the Numeric Keypad
functions are for LE systems as well as TDM ???

Any help will certainly be appreciated.

Thanks,
Russ

Sorry to hear...
And yes, AFAIK it should function similarly. I use the shuttle lock frequently. Also numeric "3" to initiate recording..
Maybe some else can jump in...
>>OH, do you have your "numlock" on in windows ??

cheers,

Thanks Lemix,

I don't see "Numeric Lock" in Windows.
I do see something that says "1-9 on Numeric Keypad only", but it is greyed out.

Under "Prefrences / Display ... I see Transport RecordLock. but it won't stay checked
and I don't think that's what I'm looking for anyway.

Thanks for taking the time though,

Russ

OK..
On most win keyboards the left, top most key on the numeric section is "Num Lock". It also should have an indicator light, just left to the "shift lock".
Is it on ??
You can just press the corresponding key, or to make it a default>>enable in BIOS.
This is for desktop systems though ! I don't know how a laptop would handle that...

good luck,

Lemix,

Thank You for your help.
Sometimes I feel sooooo Stupid. Your suggestion fixed everything including opening the Memory Location window Ctrl + 5.

Have a Great day,
Russ
