digi coreaudio manager shows no interface
hi there
running a DAW, PT or Ableton, allows me to route audio into my mbox2 through core audio. launching the digi coreaudio manager shows "unsupported hardware" and does not connect - and thus, i cannot launch any NI stuff as stand-alone, because the digi coreaudio throws a kernel panic. the mbox2 is lit and passing audio from the DAWs. mac mini 1.83ghz, 2gb RAM PT 8.03cs1 mbox 2 any ideas? is this related to the dozens of other coreaudio driver problem threads? best, Rich |

Re: digi coreaudio manager shows no interface
this morning, completely uninstalled pro tools 8.03. downloaded the "full installer", performed the installation - no change - still not recognizing the mbox2 from digi coreaudio manager, nor from apple's audio/midi setup as a MIDI device.
i didn't have time to test it, but i'd bet that the DAWs still see the mbox2 and play audio through it. |
