There was a slide from a presentation that went around a while back that contained the headlines. Apparently in 2017 were are getting new post workflows with folder tracks and multiple sessions at the same time. Plus enhanced midi functionality.

So at best we might get a few features that would bring Pro Tools into 2004. Well done Avid. I wonder if their corporate regulations mean that they now HAVE to deliver this?

My experience is that when Avid does improve functionality they do it better that most of their competitors. The issue is whether they add more instability in the process.

Why even use PT if you truly think its 13 years behind the curve?

Let's see what they come up with.
