Re: Most Stable Pro Tools Version (Mojave/Catalina)
Many have had good experience with 2019.5 on Mojave, I myself find 2020.5 on Catalina even better. But whatever you choose the key to stability is clean OS install, no migration whatsoever, install everything from the ground up.

Re: Most Stable Pro Tools Version (Mojave/Catalina)
2020.5 is very stable for me. Though Im very very selective with plugins, if one causes stability issues, out it goes.
Now I can even do basic mixing with plugins when trucking at 64 buffer size.

Re: Most Stable Pro Tools Version (Mojave/Catalina)
HAHAHAH ! Thing is ... I cannot update to Catalina because Apogee didn't release drivers for my Thunderbridge it's been a year .... that's pathetic honestly

Re: Most Stable Pro Tools Version (Mojave/Catalina)
So use Mojave 10.14.6 and PT2020.5 or 2019.12as it works great. Less -9173 errors with .5 than 2019.x
Skip 2020.3 as it was a bad version IMHO

Re: Most Stable Pro Tools Version (Mojave/Catalina)
Oh no, that sucks. Apogee Symphony mkII working okay here (though it insists FW update on every computer reboot, which is not so many times a year)
