Dae error -13001
I just installed the 10.3.5 PT10 on my PC (win8). But why when I'm starting PT10 I get : DAE error -13001?

Oh your on Win 8... you probably need to run in Win 7 compatibility mode:

1. I thought 10.3.5 avid supports win8
2. Even I adjust the compability mode in win7, I still get dae error -13001. I'm running on my laptop with no professinoal sound device. Win8, PT10.3.5, I intend to run pt 10 with my laptop's sound card.

When you launch PT hold down N until your playback engine comes up.... then you can select the built in audio and hit OK...
If you cant get that far into the launch let us know.

i tried hold down N but it does not appear to choose sound device, but only appears -13001
