Default Mbox pro 3 Noisy Sound

I bought my Mbox pro 3 in Johannesburg, South Africa 2012 and has been working ok except lately when suddenly the monitor outputs seized working but I did not bother since the headphones were giving the sound I needed, until recently I passworded the my system and stop using the systems for about 4 months so when I decided to open the system I heard an unusual sound from the headphones output with no or minimal music sound but with a heavy lousy sound.

I was advice not go for hardware repairs immediately until all diagnostics have been done.

so I don't know if it is possible to reset the sound card to factory setting.

please I need help.

thanks
