Just about ready to pull the pin on this. $244 US seems like a pretty good deal for all that it does. Anyone want to talk me out of it?

Doesn't it come free with your Avid plan (subscription or perpetual update)?

Although it will expire if you let your plan lapse or stop subscribing, and it will only work with Pro tools.

It's in my account (v2.03) in the protools section under UVI plugins.

I'd go for Falcon 2 from UVI in a heartbeat which I did a couple of months back. Also keep in mind when you get UVI F2 you get two free expansion packs and a $100 US voucher in an email.

Yes it comes free with one's Avid plan but it's only good as long as your plan is good. And there's no using the Avid Falcon in any other daw or in standalone.
