Default L2 Rack with Digi002 routing help

I'm practically a noob at some of this stuff, so please bear with me.

I have a Waves L2 rack which is running through my Digi 002 via SPDIF. I'm trying to figure out how to get the signal routed correctly so when I bounce down a session I get the signal from the L2 instead of the Digi002. So far, I've tried setting the Bounce Source to 17-18 (SPDIF in I/O), no luck. Then I set up an aux channel, bussed all of my tracks to it and set a send to Interface 17-18 and printed it to a new audio track. This works, sort of. Taking the L2 in and out of bypass prints to the track, so I know it's picking up the signal, but the volume is very low.

I'm using PT8 on Windows.

Thanks for any help!

Not sure, but I think you need to setup a hardware insert point(using 17&18 for send AND return). Then insert across the Master track(Read the manual for using Hardware Inserts).

As an option(instead of using a hardware insert), don't use BTD. Set the output of all tracks to SPDIF(17&18), then create a new stereo AUDIO track, with output to Main L&R and input to SPDIF. Put this new track in record and roll(recording the L2-processed audio to a new stereo track). Then trim the new audio clip and "Export Clip as File"
