Default M-Powered PT LLM w/ M-Audio HW ??

What's the situation recording and monitoring live, "THROUGH" Pro-Tools with the M-Audio setup ?

Is it a solution similar to the M-Box, controlled with mix knobs, and by muting the live rec enabled track ? or is there a software controlled LLM circuit built into the HW, similar to the 001 / 002 allowing you to switch the live rec enabled track monitoring, to the LLM circuit, for monitoring through the track ???

Anyone know ?

Dave download the demo and try it..I just installed, gave it a listen and then uninstalled..Maybe when I have more patience and time I will reinstall the demo and give it a more thorough investigation.I can forsee the crackers all over this, like stink on a monkey.

I don't have any M-Audio H/W to try it out with, and the LLM situation with the M-Box is a HW feature that doesn't exist.

if the LLM scenario works like an 001 / 002 I'll likely replace all m-boxes from the studio and home with the M-Audio HW equivalent.

The 24/96 has a software mixer section with patchbay/router and I expect that is what you would use in place of the Mbox's hardware monitoring.I will check it out again later.

If I'm not mistaken, both the 2496 and the 192 has a monitor mixer, similar to Motu's Cuemix, which simply gives me ZERO-LATENCY... Unlike the bullsh*t we have to deal with the MBox. Please tell me I'm right.

I've used it and everyhting runs fine on my Delta 1010lt.
The latency is great...near zero and much better than my M box.
I opened an aux channel assgined an input from my Delta, and plugged
a bass in and there was no noticable latency or Delay what so ever
and that was at 128 buffer.
