Audio Suite Chain
I like that you are able to have several audio-suite windows open at the same time. I will like to chain the different effects but I can't find my way around it. I have seen you have to press shift when you open a plug-in, but I can only use one at a time. Do I misunderstand this - or is it possible and how to it?
Thanks for any help! |

Re: Audio Suite Chain
I know this page, but I still don't get it. I open the plugs with shift button pressed and I can open several windows - but they don't seem to be chained in any way. They work as individual plug-ins.

Re: Audio Suite Chain
The Reference guide or the What's new in PT 10 doc doesn't mention serial rendering at all, nor is it listed as an AudioSuite improvement. There's also no logical way that I see to order the plugins for rendering.

Re: Audio Suite Chain
Thanks. In the article above it says that you can render in series. I guess the article is wrong then.

Re: Audio Suite Chain
It is wrong, but please correct me if there is an unreported way to do this.

Re: Audio Suite Chain
It's not so much wrong as badly worded and explained.
What the article appears to be trying to say is that now you can keep a 'chain' of audio suite windows open and then use them one after another (in series) on the same audio clip, thereby creating a clip that has been rendered through a chain of events. The difference between 10 and previous versions is that while this would have been possible before by using audiosuite plugin presets and opening and closing each plugin you can now leave them open (or in a window configuration set) and set to your preference. So not wrong in theory but definitely not a chain in the sense of VSTRack in Soundminer for example. C |
