Windows11 upgrade still hasn't shown up in update for me. Even though I'm on macOS now (Hackintosh). I would still like to update to 11. Where did you get your update from?

They're rolling out the updates in phases. Mine (for Intel 11th gen/Gigabyte MB) finally got pushed out through Windows Update earlier this week.

Anyone running pro tools on Windows 11 and what is your experience. I will really like to upgrade to the latest Windows OS and want to ensure I do not have any hickups with pro tools.
I've been using W11 for about 5 months (now with 2021.12). Works well here.

I decided to boot into Windows Tuesday and the Windows11 update appeared. I backed up Windows10, installed Windows11, played around with a few Windows settings, ran PT via HDX, and everything for the 2 or 3 hours I played PT seems fine...just like in Windows10.

Default Re: Pro Tools compatibility with Windows 11

I found a showstopping bug in W11 right now. I'm building a Dolby Atmos Music mixing setup leaving my old Mac Pro to run Dolby Atmos Production Suite (which ridiculously isn't available on Win, only the much more expensive DAMS) - it seems on Win 11 Pro Tools cannot connect over the network to DAPS, just restarts when trying setup it in Peripherals. I have a laptop with the supported W10 21H1 version and can confirm it works on that machine, so it seems to be a true W11 bug.

Avid support already said that "we just have to wait" as the only help, so I have to seriously consider setting up a W10 partition from scratch, reinstalling *everything* which will take a seriously long time...

(I set up W11 because I wanted the performance benefits of the updated Task Scheduler, squeezing more performance out of my i9-12900K or more like making sure no power hungry processes end up on the efficiency cores... Gosh.)

The renderer selection thing happened to me in windows 10 too.

I installed the update a couple of weeks ago. Everything seems to work here, but I do get more frequent cpu usage errors. I pretty much never saw then on this machine in 10 with a 10900k.
