Default PT deleted half my Warp Markers.

Yesterday I edited an acoustic guitar in PT with Polyphonic elastic audio enabled.

As it was tight as a pair of jeans, I sat back and listened a few times. Then I closed the session and took a break and went back and it was still sounding great.

Then I quit PT and went home. Now when opening the session - I clearly noticed timing inconsistencies - And as I took a look at the guitar track I immediately noticed why. PT had somehow automatically removed the warp markers that I had carefully placed. The only markers present was the Event markers that was created by analysis.

I am getting kind of scared of using Elastic Audio - think what could happen if this would be a BUG.

I have been using elastic audio a great deal - and this has NEVER happened before.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear about that. That's no good. I haven't heard of that happening before. Do you happen to have auto-backups of the session to compare against?

Also, is it the same revision of the file that previously sounded OK?

I'd be happy to take a look if you have something to compare against.

I had this happen to me once when I tried duplicating a partially warped track.

Hi Paul,

thanks for chiming in. Unfortunately I have NO session BU's to compare against...

I will continue to use EA - and keep it under close watch
