Is Core Audio working on El Capitan?
The Read Me for 12.4 says:
On Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) only, iTunes does not work with HDX or HD | Native hardware using the Avid Core Audio manager. (PTSW-194693) The Avid CoreAudio Manager is currently not compatible with Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) and a driver update will be required. So, is Core Audio for those on El Capitan able to play iTunes or YouTube audio?

Nope! Not here on our HDX2 atleast. Works great on our Apollo system studio but not on Avids own hardware.

I assume this also excludes 3rd party DAW's in addition to itunes etc ....
