For 49 dollars, you can add a scsi card to the G4 (www.apple.com - configure your G4 online and add the card or I guess get it from wherever you bought it if you already have the G4).

They do not have an internal scsi bus on the G4. From there, you would get an external scsi drive and attach it!

All G4s have the ability to add a 2nd ATA drive internally.

You still might want to get a SCSI card for a CD burner, however.

Apple removed the built-in SCSI bus starting with the B&W G3 series computers. B&W G3 and G4 models are capable of accomodating one additional internal ATA drive without requiring additional hardware.
If you plan on using a SCSI drive for use with Pro Tools, the only currently supported SCSI card is the ATTO Express Dual Port (model: EPCI-DC) SCSI accelerator. For more information, check out our compatibility documents at: http://www.digidesign.com/compat/index.html
