Hi , are the DAE single client drivers still more efficient ? It seems that the only way to get a 32 sample buffer is to use these ?

Still more efficient than...what?

The version 9 driver is the same whether you have Pro Tools installed or just want to have a stand alone driver for use with other software.

Prior to 9 Pro Tools would install the 002/003/HD drivers automatically - the standalone driver for pre-9 versions was just a breakout of the driver from the full Pro Tools installer.

Should those still on PT8 update the standalone drivers for use with other audio software, or will that cause problems with v8?
