Default MS Decoder

Does anyone know of a simple MS decoder plugin. I realise you can do this by using 3 tracks, but is there a way of doing it with only 2.

Thanks

What exactly are you trying to do?

Get the two seperate mono files out of the stereo file?
Or create the stereo file from the two mono signals?

Create a Stereo file from two mono signals (M+S).

The only way I seem to be able to do this is by duplicating the S signal, phase inverting it and panning them out hard. You then have 3 tracks with control over the amount of S.

I am after a plugin that you can put on a stereo track (containing the M+S signal), which will decode it into a normal stereo signal (M in the center with S and -S panned fully) with control over the amount of S. I have a large track count and this would certainly ease the processing.

Presumably it should be a fairly simple bit of processing.

Thanks in advance

Go there and download Matrix RTAS plug in.
It's a freeware.
Enjoy!
