Default Markers Move With Edit...

I know you can move a marker or markers with editing by shift clicking on a marker, but can you just toggle them to follow editing the way you can now with automation?

I'm going to make a feature request right now just in case you can't. This would be a great help when editing long voiceovers.

Cheers,

Hi Bruce

A few of us have already submitted Feature Requests concerning this issue and related problems around Markers and even Memory Locations, so your not alone with this one. If I recall, both LE and HD have had threads relating to this, of recent. By the way, how did you get on with submitting that feature request?

Hi filo,

I couldn't find it on Digi's "new" website, so I got it through the archive.

It's certainly not a showstopper and there are 4 features I'd really like, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Cheers,

Yeah, Bruce, there are a few of us that think Digi have removed the Feature Request Form, you can't locate it from the Customer Service Archive page like you used to, what path are you taking, I can't find it anywhere.

So what four Marker features would you like implemented? One of them being a Check Preference Option (Lock Marker to Selection).

Re-numbering Memory Locations is one I can think of.

I have a link above.

The four features I'd like:

Full Plug-In Delay Compensation

An Option For Faster Than Real Time Mix Down With All Effects, Plug-Ins and Automation

An Option For Zero Crossing Editing

Unlimited, Selective Undo

Cheers,

Yes! Actually, I'm just about to dive into a White Paper on Latency and the like.

You say, all effects, does this include Outboard? I thought this was not possible.

Excuse my ignorance, whats Zero Crossing Editing?
Quote:
Unlimited, Selective Undo
Yeah, that would be nice too.

I'd like to add Object selection Region Grouping to that list.

Not outboard, not possible.

Zero crossing:

When toggled on, the cursor is restricted to where the waveform crosses the zero line. No need for fades, or certainly less fades as there are no pops.
