Dual CPU\'s 2x3.0GHz Xeon Dual Cores and Mainboard
Has anyone tried using these CPU's with a mainboard, running 7.1 LE M-Powered with 4 x Delta 1010LT? Or similar setup.
Another alternative would be 2 x Opteron 285 Dual Core X2. Think I would be pushing my luck trying to run the new 1216 socket versions supporting DDRII. However if anyone does have any feedback that would be great too. |

Re: Dual CPU\'s 2x3.0GHz Xeon Dual Cores and Mainboard
Build that dualie using the recommended Opteron based Tyan Thunder K8WE (Model S2895) unless one standard PCI slot isn't enough.
It would be nice to know if the recommended compatible hardware list on their website is current as building an Intel based Core2 Duo machine would be best. Anyone here running ProTools M-Powered software with one? |
