I don't envy the debuggers / coders at avid at all.....constantly chasing the tail of the snake

The problem is if they are slow to address bug reports and they keep moving forward as new bugs are created it gets harder and harder to catch-up. Some of these have been reported long ago in previous version. Some times it takes them forever (figure of speech) to acknowledge there is a problem. With all the info on these forums the users are doing half the work for them. Sometime I feel like we are the beta tester. Just a little venting.... Don't take me too serious but it's true.

works just fine here .. floating transport window while in the mixer page ..

Did you actually try and enter a number in the measure bar on the transport while the song is in motion and did it switch to that measure and continue to play from there? Which Pro Tools version are you referring to? I see PT 10.3.7 and 11.1.3 in your sig.

Workaround is to use the Big Counter floating window.

Floating transport not working here. (HD11.2)
