Fast Track Ultra Control Panel Disable Host Control??
Hi all
I'm using a Fast Track Ultra as a live sound interface and recording with a DAW at the same time. With the Windows driver you have the option to "Disable Host Control". With the Mac driver you don't? I can't find it. Anyone run into this? |

Re: Fast Track Ultra Control Panel Disable Host Control??
Well. There is answer. On the Mac, you don't need to disable host control it seems.
The Fast Track can be used as a plain ol interface and mixer. Just use the control panel to set your mix(s) and go. Works. If you try to record at the same time with Windows and Pro Tools, Pro Tools shuts down the sends in the Fastrack. You can get software returns from the DAW but they are lagged. You have to disable Host Control and then it works. With a Mac and Pro Tools it works the way you think it should. You can send inputs to the outputs and record. |
