The timing issues with PT8.0.4 are easy to work around as long as you don't have a client looking over your shoulder asking questions. Other than that, it's fine for me.

Do you have have a work around to install it?

Considering 8.0.3 didn't support win 7 / 64 bit how do you get 8.0.4 on there as an upgrade?

how you guys do the work around? I mean everything is working I would say properly. I just updated to win7 64 from XP and I got a lil static noise coming from one of the krks but if I put some music on is not noticeable, but the worst part is when I try using PROTOOLS ... it starts playing the session but after idk 10 secs it stops saying errors with buffers blah blah blah I tried putting higher and lower setting but still I get the same error.. I dont get why this would happen if this is a new computer with an i7 920 processor with 8gb of ddr3(ram) why there would be a problem.. It's frustrating having your studio but not able to do anything with it.. plus I'm having delays with some release dates with some clients.. ..if any of you guys know what could be the problem with the buffer problem I would really appreciate it..

PS: I'll have my sandra'specificationes posted later on when i get home

Got 8.0.1cs2 (since I use the first Gen mbox) working fine, even without optimizations. The install was pretty rough though.
