Aspect ratio problems, please help!
Hello all!
I'm having an issue with Pro Tools LE displaying video. I have a PAL DV file which is 16:9, but Pro Tools insists on showing it as 4:3 Done all sorts to try and sort this, found a stepped work through to make it work on here, which didn't work. I've tried recoding the video in Quicktime as a resolution of 1024x576, still 4:3. All the solutions show fine 16:9 in Quicktime, and Windows Media Player, but not in Pro Tools. I'm using 7.4cs10 through a Digi002 Rack. Anyone know whats going on?!?! Thanks! |

Re: Aspect ratio problems, please help!
Thats strange, Must have something to do with pixel aspect ratio. If you have the option in your video app or convertor try choose square pixel or whatever ratio is closest to 1:1
1024x576 typically looks wide on my system but if its exported as wide pixel or 1:1.49 it might show as 4:3 in PT. This is trial and error for me as I often dont know what Im gonna get,
