Default Looking for the best Reverb plug and more

I love my Waves Platinum, but the reverb could be better, and I'm not to sold on D-verb. So who makes the best reverb out there?

Also, is there an Auto Tune for PC?? I thought that only Mac guys could get auto tune?
( they must sing out of key a lot more than us!! )

And lastly ( is that a word? ) What about a BBE type of plug in for us Digi people. Is there one????
Thanks, Carl

Carl,
From what I've seen here on the DUC, the RVerb(RenVerb) plugin is said to be the best overall verb. You're already familiar with DVerb, and to me, the TrueVerb is just too sterile or something. I don't care for it myself.
And yeah, there's AutoTune for pc's (I have it, and it seems to work well). There was just a topic discussing it( key searchword would be 'Cher')...

I would say that Realverb is the nicest reverb I have used. It does take up a bit of CPU, but not as much as Renverb. Hell, you pc guys have faster machines so the CPU probably wont be a problem.

Pleazzze Ron - do not spread desinformation! RealVerb does not exist on this platform, only D-verb, RenVerb and TrueVerb plus TelRay (although not a Reverb).

My bad. I wasnt aware that Realverb wasnt available for the pc platform. The next in line for me would be Renverb. I like this one much better than trueverb or dverb. Sorry for steering you in the wrong direction. I guess when it comes to plugins, I will stay out of it from now on since I am not familiar with what all is available for the pc platform.

Is Rverb or RenVerb you refer to the Wave Renaisassance Reverberator?

RVerb or RenVerb is Rennaisance Reverb. I would agree with you guys. When I first started using it, it was a huge improvement over DVerb. As we grow in music recording we always want something better and that is ok.
I've found since I upped my frontend quality that I don't even need much reverb anymmore. On voice overs I don't use any at all.

Z-Room is also really good. I have real verb but never use it cuz my cpu doesn't dig it. I actually use the Korg oasys card for all my reverbs, cuz it sounds great and doesn't affect your cpu at all!
