Default Elastic Audio question for people who use it a lot.

In the reference guide it says mono is usually used for vocals.

I was wondering what you guys use to correct timing issues with vocals.

Monophonic? or Polyphonic?

Any info would be great thanks.

Default Re: Elastic Audio question for people who use it a lot.

I usually use monophonic as a vocal is a monophonic "instrument" and the results are usually very good. Polyphonic on guitars works fine for small changes. Monophonic on bass works great and I have salvaged some really poorly played bass tracks. I also will use monophonic on guitar solos since they are mostly single notes. If you are worried about screwing something up, just duplicate the vocal track and mess with the duplicate(leaving the original untouched). You can also just turn the EA off by selecting NONE and REVERT which returns your audio to the way it was before you started.
