Default MBox USB - hassle!?

Am I the only one who has to plug the USB cable from my MBox into my B/W G3 350 every time I start up? If I don't it just lights up like a Christmas tree and does nothing. I'm asking because I couldn't find any other posts on this issue. This is a pain because I don't want to crawl under my desk every time and I don't want to wear out my hardwear connections. I installed the latest USB driver. Is there a fix for this (besides getting a Digi 001 - I know some of you were thinking that!!)?

Many people including myself suffer from this problem. Just like you, I installed the latest driver but no use.

Apart from this bizarre **** the system works without a flaw.

Hmmmm.....I'm using the updated firmware 0.2 and it just won't work. Maybe my machine is too old. I'm starting to get cranky....any more ideas?
