"Eleven Rack" window gone in PTLE after upgrading to Lion?

Is there anyone out there who's got PTLE 8.05 100% working on OSX Lion? I can record and playback normally but all 11R-specific support on PTLE is gone, from remembering patches on recorded tracks to the 11R window and toolbar.

I do not believe any version of PT8 is compatible with Lion.

Not officially, no. BUT like I've mentioned I had PTLE 8.05 up and running 100% under Lion after performing the following tasks:

1. Reinstalled the 11R driver
2. Rebooted my Macbook
3. Ran "Disk Utilities" and performed "Repair Permissions".

Now come to think of it, it might be the 1.04 beta driver that screwed things up, I'm going to rollback to the previous version when I get home tonight and see what happens. Mind you, the only thing that's missing from PTLE right now is 11R-specific functionality (like the patch editor), I'm able to record and playback through the Eleven Rack flawlessly.

I have confirmed that right after upgrading to Lion I still had the 11R editor window working in PTLE 8.05, but it's somehow gone now. Reinstalling the old drivers didn't bring it back.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel that being a product that's bundled with the 11R (which is still being sold in stores) and given the fact that Lion is the current OSX version, there should be an update for PTLE 8 for it to be compatible with Lion?

Also, opening a session that I remembered had the Eleven Rack window worked in another instance.

Regarding the last comment:
"Low level" software like music software but also drivers controlling other types of hardware take a bit more time to port over to new OS versions, you have to calculate a few months usually. Being both a user and developper I can understand it is sometimes frustrating, but necessary.

Benoni might remember when i didn't have my eleven rack window for months!
It was due to a midi problem, somehow there was no midi communication - at all - between my eleven rack and pc. A Re-install fixed it, there was no specific thing I did or changed during the installation process, just a fluke.
