Default Digi please update MDW EQ

Digi can you please post the update for the MDW EQ so it shows up in the EQ folder. According to George Massenburg he supplied you with the fix months ago and it's up to you to post it. It would be nice to hit the EQ button on my Command8 and see the EQ.I am sure all your Control24 , ProControl and Icon users would appreciate this as well.

The version 1.1 that we have posted is the most recent version that MDW has provided to Digi. They had talked about sending a v1.2 awhile back, but we have not seen it. We can ask them again.

If you go to the MDW website, they have a graphic of a four band stereo EQ with graph handles. What this then?

Getting the Forte 110 and 130 to show up in the EQ and Dynamics classifications would also be nice...

Here is the link to the page Steve is talking about:

http://www.massenburg.com/mdw/products/protoolshd.html

It clearly states ProTools HD in several places on this page... even under the
screenshot of this "new" MDW EQ, so it would seem that something is going on.

I posted the Digi response on the George Massenburg forum and this was his response.

Quote:
I'm surprised that Digi doesn't know what their development group is doing. But then again, maybe I'm not surprised at all.

I believe I'm expected not to talk about any of this, but if they're going to get it wrong, I think it opens things up.

We finished 1.2 many months ago only to find that the D-Control interface (which is defined by a Digi resource called "Page Tables") wasn't mapping to controls correctly. Digi Development's terse answer is always "well, look in the SDK documentation", but our experience is that 9 times out of 10 there sometime wrong with the SDK. And, as usual Digi released fixes to their Page Table generator. Still, the increments on the D-Control are stupid and decidedly non-professional (0.7dB steps?) and under 6.4 there seems to be no way to change this.

We'd love to get this out. Complain to Digi, but do not believe it when they say that they're doing everything they can to get it out. I just don't see that commitment.

George
