You know, I really like McDSP's synth. It makes nearly every record I do - It's by far the thickest synth around.

Granted, it doesn't have multi-effects, and the polyphony is only 8 voices (on a Mix card), but sheesh - the sound is amazing.

It is also a bit complex, but then, every artful instrument is...

I would say D-Verb, without a doubt.

D-Verb probably. Also, I own both TDM versions of Ampfarm and That Sansamp Plug and I've got to say that although Amp Farm has some good simulations of those amps, I can't get a good clean simulation through either plug to save my life. I always end up relying on McDSP Comp and EQ banks to get a good clean sound. The TC Master X3 Rocks the house...

D-Verb is great! Try the non-linear setting on snare.
And the ambience isnīt that bad either.
Really AMS-like.

BTW: I never really liked tc plugins...

I've been hearing this crap about D-verb on the snare, (trashy) for years. I don't buy into it.

For that much of a CPU drain it should at least be good for something else.

Well, I like it.
If you donīt, donīt use it.
And if OSX is your first contact with D-Verb then itīs free, so nothing to bother about.

Yes, the Bomb Factory MoogerFooger Bundle is THE worst plug-in the I PAID for.

The plugin's are so noisy that they are totally unuseable, especially the TDM versions. The RTAS versions are just a bit less-noisy.

I notified Bombfactory of this problem and I ended up chatting with a programmer who said that the MoogerFoogers were intentionally programmed to be "noisy". What a bunch of idiots.

But, I beg-to-differ....A friend of mine owns the original hardware versions and they are clean, quiet and practically noise free...sound wonderful and joy to use.

Does anyone want to buy my totally unuseable, extremely noisy MoogerFooger Bundle?
