Live recording
OK. New user here. Only just got the Essential SOftware a few weeks ago. My question is, if I take a live feed from a mixing desk, and put it through the input on the USB interface....will it pick up a decent sound? Looking to record a gig. Is it worth doing?!

Re: Live recording
This all depends on the quality of the mix coming from the board. Bring headphones and spend time getting a great board mix before you do any house checks. To get good results, it's pretty important that at least the kick and snare are mic'd up as well as all guitars and additional instruments. Make sure you have a stereo feed coming out of the board as well.
